Health Sciences North Child and Mental Health Program – Sudbury, ON

In one weekend we will be creating more opportunities for mental health patients aged 6-17 to receive self-lead, innovative mental health treatment by transforming Patient Lounge Room #5613 and the Communal Kitchen/Activity Room at HSN’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Centre!

We will be supplying and installing well-researched integrations such as tools for musical therapy, meditation, entertainment, communication, relaxation and exercise to help the children and youth relax, have an area for self-expression and be more receptive of the to the physician lead treatment sessions.

The CAMHP unit of Health Sciences North is a stabilization environment designed specifically for children and youth who, as a result of a psychiatric illness, are acutely disabled and unable to remain safe in the community.
