Alexandra Marine and General Hospital – Goderich, ON

Over the weekend of November 22nd – 24th, we were at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich, ON transforming SIX Smilezone spaces.

The rooms we transformed are: 

  • Emergency Waiting Room
  • Family Sitting Room
  • Family Sitting Room Foyer
  • Lab Room
  • Speech Pathology Office
  • Speech Pathology Hallway

Over the weekend of November 22nd – 24th our team was in Goderich, ON revamping six spaces in Alexandra Marine and General Hospital into fun, accessible and engaging Smilezones. The Emergency Waiting Area, Lab Room, Family Sitting Room, Family Sitting Room Foyer, Speech Pathology Room and Speech Pathology Hallway were all renewed to provide opportunities for children of all ages and medical needs to have fun. 

 

About Alexandra Marine and General Hospital: 

 

Alexandra Marine and General Hospital (AMGH) provides healthcare services in Huron County to the community of Goderich and several surrounding municipalities representing a catchment area of approximately 25,000 people.

AMGH is a full service community hospital providing on-call coverage for internal medicine, general surgery, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, and obstetrics. In addition, the Emergency Department has a physician on duty twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week. AMGH is the largest provider of hospital services in Huron County which includes the delivery of primary care, a range of secondary level acute and complex continuing care to its broad catchment population.
