In late September over the course of a weekend, FOUR SMILEZONES were installed at Five Counties Children’s Centre, in Peterborough, ON , bringing the total number of Smilezones in Ontario up to 86!The four new Zones included a full overhaul of the main entrance and entry vestibule, the reception area, waiting room and casting room.

Throughout the course of the transformation process, the Peterborough Petes worked closely with Smilezone Foundation to ensure the Zones payed homage to local landmarks, and are enthusiastic about the new Zones. Five Counties Chidlren’s Centre helps children with physical, communication and developmental challenges. They work with children and adolescents, along with their families and the community to both strengthen their abilities and promote their participation as active members of the community.

Custom cabinetry and banquette seating for family use
Warmly-coloured, fresh paint throughout the Zones
