Over a single weekend in March 2024, The Smilezone team transformed Three new Smilezones at Lynwood Charlton Center! The Smilezones included the Gymnasium, Multipurpose Room and Sensory Room. The Smilezone includes fresh Paint, Colorful murals, beanbag chairs, a new TV, lockable storage, whiteboards, rolling storage for lacrosse equipment, a sensory projector and new kids’ toys Lacrosse equipment including Pinnes.
Smilezone Foundation has worked closely with Lynwood Charlton Centre and our generous donor Toronto Rock, to bring this new project to life.

These Smilezones could not come at a more perfect time, as we support children to improve their mental health and achieve wellness. We are so grateful to the Toronto Rock and the Smilezone Foundation for such an impactful gift,” said Michelle Hayes, Senior Director of Program Operations and System Planning. “Our staff are passionate about delivering high-quality mental health care and now the physical environment will provide the rich conditions that promote well-being”.
