North Bay Regional Health Centre

The Smilezone Team was in North Bay in early October 14th-16th, 2016 transforming FOUR SMILEZONES at North Bay Regional Health Centre. The four new zones at North Bay Regional Hospital included a fresh uplifting installation that saw the main Y-Shaped corridor, TV Room, Kitchen and Wii Room in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Ward completely renewed. The four new Zones brought Smilezone’s total number of Zones up to 90 across Ontario!

About North Bay Regional Health Centre

The main Y-shaped corridor reflected a Zen like theme with inclusive artwork to reflect the clientele. The TV room included a newly installed TV and BlueRay player in addition to iPad Stations, new furniture and custom cabinetry. The Kitchen and Wii rooms also received a new paint job, custom cabinetry and custom murals with colorful quotes.

The North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) is a unique healthcare organization with three primary roles. It provides acute care services to North Bay and its surrounding communities, it is the district referral centre providing specialist services for smaller communities in the area, and it is the specialized mental health service provider serving all of northeast Ontario.
