From January 22nd to 24th, 2016, FOUR SMILEZONES were installed at the Rouge Valley Health Centre in Scarborough, ON.
Our Foundation transformed the Pediatric Oncology Hallway, Playroom, and two Treatment Rooms, outfitting them with vibrant and engaging Smilezones that included:
Fresh, lively and engaging, these Smilezones are something to see! With murals featuring outerspace, fairy tales, hockey, and an exciting cartoon car race, there’s always something to look at. The iPad station, air hockey table, and sensory panels means there’s always something to do!
The Rouge Valley Pediatric Oncology Satellite Clinic provides excellent close-to-home, specialized cancer care to children and their families from East Toronto and West Durham.
